Not too clear but finally I managed to catch a photo of a beautiful goldfinch .

A bit dark as he was hiding in the shadows but if you click to zoom in, you will see the dipper.

I bet this leaf has a few stories to tell!

Who would have thought that these tiny wee yellow fungi type things would look so strange when zoomed in?

A cold wee leaf!

A prickly but beautiful trap!

It was pouring today so I thought I would look at last years photos instead and it looks like it was the same then!!!

For some reason any time I manage to catch a photo of a squirrell the flash catches it's eyes.  I had to fill in this one.

Back to this years photos all I managed to get today were some rainy roses!  As it was very dull they don't zoom in very well.

But they still add some nice colour to the day.

And it is easy to imagine their lovely scent.

Chaffinches don't usually stay still long enough for me to get a photo.

A strange twisty branch.

I never know whether they are crows, rooks or ravens?  Rooks I think?  But I love the silhouettes they make up at the tops of the trees.

Autumn has definately arrived.

I'm afraid some of them are a bit blurry this week when zoomed in but they look nice, so I will still put them on for you all to see.
