Pretty.

An interesting beastie.
This Heron let me get a photo until it spotted me from behind the trees then it was off too quick for another photo.
A shield bug, I presume?
A cow in the undergrowth!!!

A puzzle for you.  What are these?  What beasties eggs, if that is what they are?

These tiny wee fish were a couple of  inches long.

There were hundreds of them, if you click on this photo to zoom in you might just make them out.

But beasties are a much more tasty morsel!

This one's turn for the beasties now.

I don't usually see ladybirds down by the river.

I finally managed after much 'running around' to get a photo of the first damsel fly of the year.

This chaffinch got braver after I sat below the tree for a while.

Beautiful goldfinches.
A lovely wee foal.

Click on this beetle to zoom in and see it's incredible blue.
A bee on it's way to somewhere.
