A perfect moon last night.

A bit chillier today, nothing much out and about.  Still a lovely walk.

Small copper butterfly.  This lovely clump of flowers always comes out late in the year, the bees and butterflies love it as the other flowers are dying off.

I've been happy to see more painted lady and other types of butterflies this year than usual.

The goldfinches were about, couldn't get too near but lovely to see them.  B-)

Anyone know what kind of bird this is?

I've always wanted to see a jay and get a photo of one!

Spent ages trying to get a photo of these large dragonflies.  I had just given up when I finally spotted these 2!
