A brilliant holiday in Australia, Melbourne and Sydney.

Black swan cygnets.

I was told that this moth is rare it was about 3 inches long.

The wrens don't usually stay still long enough for a lovely pose like this.  B-)

An absolutely beautiful day today and a lovely walk up the Knock,
Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland.

I could hear a woodpecker and after quite a lot of chasing and walking in the
undergrowth I was extremely pleased and astounded to actually find it.  B-)

I wonder if we will see the tadpoles that emerge from this?!
