The river is very low just now.

Still slightly early but the bluebells are starting to put on a show.

So many primroses.

The cattle were much more sensible than me today, sheltering from the rain under the trees.

Male kingfisher this time.

Orange tip butterflies and loads of cuckoo flowers about this year.  I will have to go back tomorrow to have a better look.

The first goldfinch I've seen since last year.

It was fascinating the way the mother duck kept all the ducklings beside her by
quacks even though they were all moving with the current.

Amazing to spot this, I think it is a stoat?

This heron finally stayed still for me.
